[Emacs-diffs] undecided-dos

Hi 
sorry I  don't know if this is the rigth place to post the following
question, but browsing the gnu site it seemed to me the closest.
I installe the new version of emacs 21.1 and I find that the my
gnu-emacs file for version 20.7.1 with the following lines

(modify-coding-system-alist 'file "\\.for\\'" 'undecided-dos)
(modify-coding-system-alist 'file "\\.fi\\'" 'undecided-dos)

doesn't work.  In fact the string "^M" is showed at the end of each
line.
