There's no "vietnamese" script.

And why don't you use the most efficient tool there is?  Try

  M-s M-w vietnamese font RET

and the first several hits are what you need.

Why would someone need to install anything for Vietnamese?  It uses
the Latin script, so should be supported OOTB.
