We cannot conclude that a feature is unused
from a discussion on this list.  That requires polling the list.

C-x v v for RCS works fine.  Likewise for CVS.  We will not change
those behaviors.

We can change what it does for git, if git users like the change.
That is something we can tell from discussion on this list.
