There's a shell:

C:\> dir \my_git_install_path\bin\*sh.exe

 Volume in drive C is unlabeled      Serial number is 57d9:23e9
 Directory of  C:\my_git_install_path\bin\*sh.exe

30/07/2009   2:17         567.296  bash.exe
30/07/2009   2:17         567.296  sh.exe

[etc]

It's just that they are not on the PATH, so they don't mess with your
MSYS shell.
