The bzr project has an impressive amount of tooling to
support email-based development. For starters, take a look
at [some bzr features]
thanks for the tip. maybe i'll get to looking into bzr sometime
in 2008. i am in the midst of a (now) two-month trial-by-fire
period w/ git. it's interesting. some side effects can be seen
at: <http://www.gnuvola.org/wip/>.
i think long term what will win is some distributed system,
presuming the off{line,world ;-} folks and cortical jackers can
maintain mutual respect.
