I don't think ls-lisp belongs to emacs-lisp.  Perhaps emulation is a
better place.  And if we move ls-lisp anywhere, find-lisp should be
moved to the same place.

I'd say either leave hexl alone or move it to textmodes.  I frequently
use it to look at files that have nothing to do with programming.
