Ok, I found the piece of information which was missing in my
report on this bug:
I have this line into .Xdefaults:
emacs.geometry: 80x25
Now, if I will get a 80x25 frame even when I start emacs with
/emacs -q -no-site-file -g 50x50
Until the recent change to x-win.el, this line in .Xdefaults has
always been ignored by an explicit -g option.
So now I wonder whether that change was intended to have this effect,
i.e. that -g is no longer supposed to override .Xdefault settings?
