No. The appropriate properly-defined coding systems should be used to
DTRT.
The need to display windows-125N isn't confined to DozeN'T; apart from
what arrives in mail and imported files, they're used in two or three
GNU locales. If the appropriate coding system isn't clear, 8-bit
display may be misleading, as the current treatment of \222 sometimes
is.
