I wasn't suggesting that it would work without any change to
find-image, but I find it inconsistent that images are searched for
on load-path when the only other type of file that is true for is
lisp files. But maybe it is better to search for images on load path,
so external packages can be self-contained inside site-lisp, I guess
that is why it was done this way originally.
