ok, saw the 12-nov thread "More keybindings in compilation mode map",
sorry for the gratuitous rehash...
i think a "compilation shell" is overkill, frankly. a simple send-line
w/ some easy to [rt]each keybinding makes the most sense to my usage
pattern:
M-x compile RET compile --chatty RET
-| "life is good... la la la"
-| "wait, are you sure? [y/n]"
: y RET
also, line-oriented abstraction is easy to build upon (for scripts),
although admittedly that can also be said of any shell approach.
