I don't agree completely. There are a lot of warnings in GCC that are
false alarms and don't matter.
I agree. We should not let any compiler be our master.
I will try to test all the code I check in before I check it in, and
get rid of all warnings that actually indicate something undesirable.
If I ever don't do this it will be because of desperate time pressure.
I am very worried this week because mail is coming in so fast I can
hardly even read it all. It seems to be largely Emacs 21 bug reports
and the discussion of them.
