I went to compile emacs 21 for the first time and got this:
make[1]: *** No rule to make target
`/home/wohler/work/mh-e/emacs/src/../lisp/abbrev.elc', needed by `../etc/DOC'.
Stop.
Any ideas? I ran "./configure; make".
