Gerd, I seem to recall that you once said Emacs 21 was slightly faster
than Emacs 20, as far as redisplay is concerned. Is that right? If
not, what is the speed ratio people should expect during redisplay,
such as scrolling, etc.?
It looks like we will hear a lot of such questions once Emacs 21 is
released, so I thought it would be good to know the facts.
