After some unknown amount of time of starting emacs and abrowser, maybe
an hour or more, when I copy from emacs and paste into abrowser, nothing
is pasted, as if there is nothing in the copy buffer. But I can still
paste into other programs, like a terminal. Then if I copy out of the
terminal, I can paste that into abrowser.

Abrowser is a lightly modified derivative of firefox, I'm using version
105.0.2 (this corresponds to the same firefox version).

My coworker greg experienced the same problem today, so I know this
isn't just my system.

I'm happy to run commands that might help with debugging this if someone
will suggest some.

In GNU Emacs 29.0.50 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version
3.24.33, cairo version 1.16.0) of 2022-09-23 built on kd
