‘guix shell --export-manifest’ behaves in a strange way:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
$ guix shell rubber --export-manifest
;; What follows is a "manifest" equivalent to the command line you gave.
;; You can store it in a file that you may then pass to any 'guix' command
;; that accepts a '--manifest' (or '-m') option.
(specifications->manifest (list "rubber"))
$ guix shell texlive-base --export-manifest
;; What follows is a "manifest" equivalent to the command line you gave.
;; You can store it in a file that you may then pass to any 'guix' command
;; that accepts a '--manifest' (or '-m') option.
(specifications->manifest (list "texlive-base"))
$ guix shell texlive-base rubber --export-manifest
;; What follows is a "manifest" equivalent to the command line you gave.
;; You can store it in a file that you may then pass to any 'guix' command
;; that accepts a '--manifest' (or '-m') option.

Something breaks when combining ‘rubber’ with other packages.

Turns out the problem occurs if the given environment has been cached by
a previous invocation (thanks to Marek Felšöci for putting me on the
right track!).
Fixed in 925a57c5d04553ff6c514867348e7d3c5c22ca66.
