Hello,

The 'plotutils' package fails the "spline.test" on i686-linux.  Log
output here, though not much to go on:

This is important because it is a dependency on Inkscape 1.0, which will
soon become the default Inkscape with thousands of dependent packages.

Fixed with commit 2bd84c50ff, which reuses a fix from Debian.
