* gnu/services/sound (pulseaudio-configuration) [daemon-conf]:
Disable flat-volumes. Enabling flat-volumes, as is the upstream default,
causes unpleasant experiences to users when applications inadvertently max
out the system volume (e.g. as in #38172).
