According to 
        (info "(emacs) Two-Column")

there is `C-x 6' map for it.

I wonder how common is use of Two-Column mode is.  If it is not so
commonly used, it doesn't deserve dedicated keys.

In GNU Emacs 24.3.50.9 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
