Menu-> Standard keybindings (`prog-mode' bindings are not that interesting). Aggregate those in to a Generic section or move those to the bottom or remove those. Specifically the - First section, that has C-M-a etc - Third section, that has C-M-\ etc 4. Menu->Toggle Convert the options to checkboxes. (Whatever is the Emacs standard way of doing it.) 5. Provide a "Save Options" button so that I turn on whatever toggles that interest me and have it saved to .emacs In GNU Emacs 24.3.50.4 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.20.1) of 2013-11-09 on debian-6.05 Bzr revision: 115051 address@hidden Windowing system distributor `The X.Org Foundation', version 11.0.10707000 System Description: Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.5 (squeeze)
