I'm not sure what is out there for a GUI front end. I would hope 'cdrecord'
front ends work, but I do not assume this.
If there isn't anything that meets your needs, it's trivial to write a GUI
front end in Python/Tk (PyGTK, PyQt..) or some other scripting language, that
launches dvdrecord using appropriate switches.
Making the GUI detect various errors is a bit more work of course :-)
