Aha. Sorry, I read the question too quickly.
Yes indeed, it is a good idea. It's not really required if you have a good
understanding of how Duplicity works, but for the average user just wanting to
back some things up, it is confusing.

Unfortunately I have no time right now to write the code to do this; Olivier,
would you mind filing a bug report with your suggestion?
