I see. And you'd want it to be a little bit bigger, right?

So, there are two ways to do this:

1. Having the logo strictly inside the header bar (and making it all

2. Having the logo stretch over the lower edge of the header bar
   into the free area between the header bar and the navigation menu:

The problem with the second approach is that it looks a bit odd because
of the “sharp edge” between the header and the body background. (I've
tried that before.) Giving the logo its own circle background and border
solves this problem.

By the way, #9400d3 is a pretty extreme color. It think the header
background should be kept to a grayish color with slightly increased red
and blue channels in order not to distract from the main text.
