[Dr-geo] Query regarding Guile

Hi,

I just want to ask, for my 1st milestone "Update old Guile library to
latest 2.0.11 stable version".
The current version of drgeo is using is pretty old version version (1.6).
What should be a better approach of doing this?
#1: Updating to version 1.8 and then shifting to newer version?
#2: Or directly upgrading to the latest one?
