Summary: Mnemonic specifier ignored

Original Submission: In the various classes that can use a mnemonic for
activation (Button, MenuItem, etc.) the & character is ignored. For example,
on a menu, if you set the string to "&File" then the F in File is the mnemonic.
Pnet does not do this and (worse) displays the & instead.
