Why not, but implementing this is outside of the scope of the
DotGNU project IMHO. It's something that (if/when desired)
should be implemented on top of the DotGNU platform, possibly
re-using some code from the DotGNU Virtual Identities
implementation.
Setting up proxy servers is quite out of the questions for the
quick-and-dirty first incarnation of DotGNU virtual Identities
in any case. In that area we need something that can quickly
scale up to a significant market share of all ecommerce
transactions worldwide, without requiring anyone to invest
in setting up farms of proxy servers.
