When you update gnustep-gui and gnustep-back to a new version, your
applications aren't updated automatically, so they were still linked against
libgnustep-gui.so.0.24 and apparently that library was still present on your
system (it isn't removed when you install a newer version of gnustep-gui) and
that library tries to load the 0.24 version of the backend bundle.
