Hi,

I donwloaded systempreferences-1.1.0, and installed it on OpenBSD, when I start it, I get an error window with the content mentioned in the subject. The directory existst, and the following files are in there.

$ find /usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/ -type f
/usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Defaults.so
/usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/Defaults.tiff
/usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.gorm/data.classes /usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.gorm/data.info /usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.gorm/objects.gorm /usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.plist /usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/Info-gnustep.plist
/usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/stamp.make

With ktrace I see its accessing the directory, and issuing a getdirent, but I don't know for what file it is looking for. I think there is sth. missing, but what?

On my system but I use the gnustep layout, I have:

> find /System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/ -type f
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Defaults
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/Defaults.tiff
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.gorm/data.classes
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.gorm/data.info
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.gorm/objects.gorm
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/English.lproj/Defaults.plist
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/Resources/Info-gnustep.plist
/System/Library/Bundles/Defaults.prefPane/stamp.make

Except for the .so file it looks identical

I am able to run SystemPreferences on OpenBSD, but again, I use the GNustep layout (sorry I can no longer say "standard"). I'll check ASAP that it is still possible.

Riccardo
