I am having trouble opening files with the following
applications: Cynthiune, ImageViewer, Pixen, and
PhotoClip.
Cynthiune: I am not able to open songs from within
this app and I am not able to see the files on the CD
using File Viewer.
ImageViewer: When try to open an image (*.jpg) with
the application I get as far as the folder the images
are in but image files are available for me to select.
I can use the File Viewer to navigate to the image
then right-click to "open with" and I can set
ImageViewer to be the default app when I double-click
the image. The problem with ImageViewer is that the
image is opened to its full size and there doesn't
seem to be a way to show the whole image in a window
that fits on my screen.
Pixen: I can open an image using the application,
'open with' by right-clicking, and double-clicking if
Pixen is the default application, but the only thing
that gets displayed are white and grey diagonal lines.
PhotoClip: Not only can't I open images with the
application, but I do not even have the option of
setting it as the default application for the file
type so 'open with' and double-clicking are out of the
question. What is worse is this is the application I
want to use for images.
Preview works to a point. I can open an image all
three ways, the entire image can fit in a window that
fits on my screen, but it is missing the baics like
keeping the aspect ratio and cropping.
I have XMMS installed and working, but I would like
all the apps I use to be GNUstep apps.
