I have renamed the stable branch of the base library from svn:// svn.gna.org/svn/gnustep/libs/base/branches/base-1_13_0 to svn:// svn.gna.org/svn/gnustep/libs/base/branches/stable so that it's clear which is the stable branch (and easy to automate processes involving it).

If you already have base-1_13_0 checked out, you can easily convert using 'svn switch svn://svn.gna.org/svn/gnustep/libs/base/branches/ stable .' or svn switch svn+ssh://svn.gna.org/svn/gnustep/libs/base/ branches/stable .' in the checked out directory.

The branch currently contains a few bugfixes backported as a result of recent testing ... a minor MacOS-X compatibility fix for initiualising an NSURL instance, a locale fix when initialising an NSDecimal number, and a fix for a crash in NSBundle when a program is linked with a lot of Frameworks.

Please try it out (using current/stable versions of other GNUstep libraries, not unstable/trunk) and let me know of any problems. This should work perfectly with application binaries which were built against the current release of GNUstep (unless said application happens to contain a bug such that it depends on a buggy behavior of course).
