It does use the left sided scroller if the default is not set.

Ah, yes.

I had NSInterfaceStyleDefault set to NSMacintoshInterfaceStyle which apparently affects NSScrollViewInterfaceStyle if the latter is not set.

And why is a right sided scrollbar used, when NSScrollViewInterfaceStyle is set to NSMacintoshInterfaceStyle?
I thought it made sense to have the scroller on the right for mac style since the mac has the scroller on the right, but I don't much care how we do it.

Dunno, I don't have a Mac, always thought they still use left sided bars. OK, then it would make sense.
