That is excellent news for anyone wanting to distribute command line
Foundation-based Objective-C applications on Windows!
So, just to clarify, you:
- compiled/linked your application as 'shared' (did you use the
mingw32
cross-compiler on linux or msys etc on Windows?)
- either built or downloaded the .dll's that you mention (do you
know the
best place to find speed-optimised builds of these .dll's?)
- put the .exe and the .dll's in one directory on the Windows machine
- go into that directory with the console and call the .exe to run
the
program
Is it as easy as that? If so it's great and there should be a link
on the
GNUstep site to tell people about it, as many have asked about this
and been
told it is difficult or impossible.
