Hi,

XMLRPC implementation in GSXML.m uses gnustep-base specific constants like GSHTTPPropertyCertificateFileKey and because of theses constants, it cannot be compiled in Mac OS X where not all gnustep-base code is compiled. XMLRPC implementation does use some specific implementation detail in gnustep-base only? If not I think it could be run with Cocoa...

I think it would require a little work to port it ... I'm not sure how the
NSURL framework
in Cocoa differs from that in GNUstep ... I know Apple extended/rewrote it a
lot and
now probably has equivalent functionality to the GNUstep extensions.

Most likely it could be made to work on Cocoa ... but I don't know of anyone
working
on that. Patches would be gratefully accepted.

Another approach would be to update the NSURL/NSURLHandle support in base to
match the current Cocoa API (though at first glance the current Cocoa api
appears
to be poorly designed) ... then we can deprecate the GNUstep extensions and
use
the new Cocoa features instead.
