Installation check

I installed gnustep from cvs, and it seems to all be working (windowmaker, 
test app with gorm/projectcenter from tutorial, etc).

But I noticed on the site install/build documentation a few differences 
Iwould like to verify:

I setup my profile to source the 
/usr/GNUstep/System/Library/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh  This is also said to be 
done in the docs.  I setup the following as well:
defaults write NSGlobalDomain "Local Time Zone" US/Eastern
defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSLanguages "(English)"

However, I did not do the following the doc stated:

1. defaults write NSGlobalDomain GSBackend libgnustep-art     <<<< Do I 
really want this? I got the impression that isn't used anymore on X11 
systems (running SuSE 9.1).  I didn't do it, so am curious.

2.  Create the following script in the Makefiles directory e.g. 
/usr/GNUstep/System/Makefiles with the name GSBoot.sh.
  Again, I didn't do this. It seemed by the cvs doc, that the GNUstep.sh 
was all I need to do. So I dont have this starting with my boot scripts.  is 
that an error on my part?

3.  Create the following script in the Makefiles directory e.g. 
/usr/GNUstep/System/Makefiles with the name GSXBoot.sh
  Same as above with 2.  I didn't do this.  Is this something that needs to 
be done?  CVS install file seems to indicate that sourcing the single sh 
file is sufficient.
