Your adverserial position and attitude is clearly not helping matters
either. (Ironic that it would be me saying this, yes). Try to look at
things from Manuel's perspective...if I had approached you, and been told
that no, open sourcing the project isn't something we're interested in,
only to go off, start my own project as a result, have the person whose
company previously refused to open-source come along and call my product
"obsolete" and imply that it was inferior, I'd be far from happy myself.
So all I'm asking for, from the both of you, is that you set aside
personal animosities and egos and just work together. I know it's easy for
me to say that and very difficult to actually do often times, but I think
the payoff is worth it at this point.

Can't we all just get along? <sniff>
