compositeToPoint vs drawAtPoint (NSImage) ?

Hi,

 I try to draw an image and can't make it work
 by usning -drawAtPoint:fromRect:operation:fraction:.
 But -compositeToPoint:fromRect:operation: works perfect.
 What's the difference between these two methods
 and why does -draw... not work ?
