Actually, those instructions are incorrect. The correct command is:

git submodule update --recursive --init

Also, you should remove/purge libvolk1-bin, libvolk1-dev and libvolk1.3. They're not necessary and may cause problems.

Hi,

I'm not so sure, if i'm duplicating another issue, but gnuradio does not compile from source. I have

libvolk1-bin, libvolk1-dev and libvolk1.3 installed. I also executed <pip install mako>; -- no cure
