Well it depends upon what you mean by 'wav' file.
For a real valued signal with constant amplitude - my guess as to what
you mean, namely
Acos(wt+phi)
use the trigonometric identity
cos(wt+phi)=cos(wt)cos(phi)-sin(wt)sin(phi)
- which is easy to derive from complex exponentials.
Then set
I=Acos(phi)
Q=Asin(phi)
Hence
Acos(wt+phi)=Icos(wt)-Qsin(wt)
