Fair point.

The sad truth is that it would be close to impossible to build a LART 
today, mostly because key components (the processor, the Flash chips) 
are out of production and impossible to find.

The software, on the other hand, does live on. I get occasional 
support requests for commercial hardware which uses (a derivative of) 
our bootloader, and the FFT for ARM code gets more than a few hits.
