Ok. I've almost got my scanner working, but I have a problem.

What does the "offset" parameter do in the signal source ??

The equation for the output of the signal source is something like this:

output[n] = amplitude*waveform[n] + offset

Look at the output of the waveform with the scope sink, it will be clear. I think the ramp does not go below zero with an offset of zero.

Does it produce the equivalent of a DC off set?

For example if I want a ramp that goes from 0 to 2 volts, do I need an
offset of 1 (volt) ??

Probably an amplitude of 1 and an offset of 1, check the scope sink.

There is no voltage equivalent here. I call them units.
