Hi gang - I've been following gnuradio a while and interested
in the subject, and interested in the USRP project (nice
picture!).
Any opinion on these as a low cost alternative? Maxim has an
evaluation board that claim to yield 12 bits at up to 60Msps:
http://pdfserv.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/MAX1420EVKIT.pdf
applications are "IF and baseband digitization", signal in, clk
in, and 12 bits raw out. MAX1420EVKIT lists at $119.95.
To get raw data into a PC shouldn't be too expensive - Measurement
Computing has a 24bit PCI card for $89, the PCI-DIO24, don't know
if it can read 12bits at 20Msps tho.
Thanks
