Please delete it from the free software directory, too,
and make the name point to the entry for Archimedes.

Hello Richard,

How are you?

I am writing to you because I would like to remove Aeneas from the GNU
packages for the following important reasons:
- - 1. very recently someone has published a paper that shows that the method
implemented in Aeneas is wrong and not reliable. Nobody knew that at the
time I implemented it. Everything was experimental.
- - 2. the GNU package Archimedes has actually superseded Aeneas.
- - 3. Some parts of Aeneas have been taken from "Numerical Recipes", a
british book from Cambridge University Press. I just knew yesterday that it
is not allowed to use the code printed in the book in other codes.

Is it possible to remove it asap? If not, I would like, at least, to remove
my name from this project for the reasons above. I am sure you understand.

Thanks in advance for your reply,

JM
