Follow-up Comment #1:
Yes, though there is a good reason for this: some instruments are transposing
and playback at a different pitch from the written one. The transpose amount
applies to all staffs and so if made absolute would break those.
Workaround: check first via built-in staff properties what the current
transpose is for a non-transposing instrument in your score.
