Hi Richard, Welcome back! Check Score seems to be behaving oddly. Test.denemo typesets correctly (see pdf) but gives a CheckScore error in the second 2/4 bar. I created Test.denemo by putting in both octaves in 4/4 and then
splitting the second bar, adding a 2/4 Time signature and then the
required 4/4 time signature. CheckScore rejects it. 3rd bar has
incorrect measure duration. IF INSTEAD I create bar 1, then a new bar, put in the 2/4 Time Sig change, then 4 notes then a new bar then a 4/4 Time Sig and the remainder of the notes Typeset produces the same output but CheckScore says there are no problems with the score. IF I THEN take this "perfect" score, merge the two 2/4 bars and remove the
2/4 Time Sig, THEN re-split the merged bar and reinstate a 2/4
Time sig, Check score reports the same error as the first case. So it seems to depend on how the two 2/4 bars are created; retrospective division is not approved of!! Best wishes Joe |
