I'm trying to get Denemo working without the Gtk deprecations that will
stop it working when Gtk4 arrives, and the Gtk2 code is becoming a
nuisance. Until recently I think the Mac OS builds still used Gtk2. Is
this still true or can I drop Gtk2 support?
