The kernel seems to be 64 bit, however the installation is still i386,
as can be seen with the command
 dpkg --print-architecture
or when looking at the architecture of the installed packages. I know of
no other solution than to re-install after a backup. If you want to do
that, maybe you can have the old server back online while installing the
new one? After the installation it should be possible to copy over many
configuration files.
