yes, I think it is a regression brought about by this commit

This allows you to change chord on a single note, but it seems it counts
the slash character as whitespace ...
Please log a bug report for this as I can't fix it for two or three days
and that exceeds my short term memory span :(

Sorry for this, I didn't realize those attached chord symbols supported
bass inversion.
