Actually it is difficult to believe that this could be restricted to red
dots - do you get the blue square drawn on the printview window when you
click on a notehead (the action that causes Denemo to move the cursor in
the display to the note clicked on in the print view window)?
If so is it just that the red dots are too small to see (or too red...)?

BTW I have re-shaping of slurs well under way now, interactively
creating the new slur shape is done and the offsets are returned, just
need the LilyPond incantation now to specify that the slur should have
that shape.
