Follow-up Comment #1, bug #31440 (project denemo):

This sounds very good. I think it could be pushed further: treat the drawing
by Denemo of more than one voice on a single staff as a little-used/advanced
feature: make the print command look for and amalgamate those staffs that have
the voice-designating markers, unamalgamating them once printed.

"...you don't have to mess with filling in blank rests, etc." well you don't
do you? Empty measures can just be left, they print blank as you would wish.
