[Denemo-devel] Ready for 0.8.18 release

I think we can release now.

 The current master is the release version, so it needs carrying over
into the stable-0.8.18 branch. If you can do this Jeremiah, please do,
else can Nils take care of that? And then the ftp upload thing - who can
do that?

I have already found a couple of bugs, which I will check in fixes for
as soon as we have the version bumped to 0.8.19
