Details:
Open gconf-editor, and activate
/desktop/gnome/inteface/can_change_accels
.
(This enables a very useful way of setting shortcuts. Though there is
currently no official interface to set it, there was one until few months ago
and GNOME developers encourage external developers to provide one in the
future.)
Now start Denemo, click for instance on "Time Signatures", scroll to "Initial
Time Signature" and press "Ctrl+T": you see that "Ctrl+T" appears in the menu
item... but the shortcut is not active.
I frankly don't know what is the complete solution, but if a coherent
integration of GNOME automatic shortcuts is really not possible, there should
be a way to _not_ show those non-working shortcuts on menu items.
